The Profile of a Role Model

I’ve worked with thousands of different people over the course of nearly the last two decades. And at every place of employment, there’s always been at least one person who’s inspired me to be better, to do better, and to be my best self every day. At Triumph Tech, that person for me is Eric Lurie.

It was January 3rd, 2022… a very cold, brisk, and overcast winter day when I signed the offer letter. His trust in me and his bold leadership warmed my heart, and I took the faithful leap to take the job. I wasn’t sure if I was doing the right thing, but Eric seemed so confident, and so I followed his lead. Later, I discovered that I had indeed made the right decision to come to Triumph Tech. Eric fought for my salary and benefits, he told me exactly what I needed to do to find success, he coached me every time I needed him, his kindness and sympathy softened me when I needed a friend, he provided advice to me for financial security in the future, he pushed me to excel, and he also reminded me to take a breath to recognize all of my achievements.

Most recently, he’s encouraged me to consider the pros and cons of leadership because he genuinely cares about my long-term gains and success. I could go on and on about the wonderful role model that Eric is but there’s one glaring fact that sums it all up – Eric’s decision to hire me has changed my life for the better. I consider myself damn lucky to be a part of his team!

As the expression goes – it takes a village to raise a child. That said, I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all the others who have contributed to my success: Tim Patterson, Lauren Palfrey, Vic Raymond, James Barlow, Dante Martinez, Lance Dofflemyer, Shane Garnetti, Geoffrey West… A BIG thank you for showing me the ropes.

Sabiha Malik, Sr. Account Executive
