How Triumph Tech helped Greenworks Tools

A Retail leader in battery-powered outdoor tools – build and leverage a custom Amazon Quicksight solution in order to return key sales analytics from various distributors across the country.

Customer Challenge

Greenworks Tools was looking to maximize on the customer data from various distributors. They looked to Triumph Technologies to build a custom solution that connected various ETL sources to a data lake solution to then return key KPI’s from the data via Amazon Quicksight.

Proposed Solution and Architecture

Triumph analyzed all ETL sources from where data would be aggregated and then pushed into the Amazon Quicksight solution launched with IAC.
We used CloudFormation to deploy all resources. This included:

  • API Gateway
  • AWS Lambda
  • AWS Glue
  • Amazon Athena
  • Amazon S3 Bucket
  • Amazon OpenSearch Service
  • Amazon DynamoDB
  • Amazon Cognito
  • Amazon Cloudwatch Logs
  • Amazon Quicksight
  • AWS SSO
Outcomes of Project & Success Metrics

The success of this project was determined by the ability of Greenworks tools’ ability to visualize key sales KPI’s from various distribution partners across the country. Success was confirmed with all metrics and KPI’s were visualized via Amazon Quicksight.

Lessons Learned

Amazon Quicksight was able to provide fast and reliable analytics to a large growing E-Commerce site and their Analytics team.

Summary Of Customer Environment

Cloud environment is native cloud. The entire stack is running on Amazon Web Services. Stack is being deployed in the US-East-1 region.
