Caudalie is a French, paraben-free skincare company renowned for its clean skincare with a variety of products ranging from anti-aging to solving dry skin concerns. The company’s unique products, including Vinotherapy, harnesses grape seed extract to obtain the most beneficial antioxidants.
Caudalie’s IT infrastructure was located on premises in New York City and needed to be refreshed. Caudalie’s IT infrastructure was facing many issues including high costs for hardware and software maintenance, as well as performance issues. Caudalie considered multiple Cloud vendors for moving some resources to the Cloud. Caudalie knew that moving to the Cloud would be a tedious process. Since they were new to AWS Cloud migrations, they wanted guidance on cloud migration to send their critical workloads to the AWS Cloud. Uptime of servers and security were very critical, due to the nature of Caudalie’s business.
